Dear friends, families, and all growing bellies!
Great ideas are born out of necessity, and no sooner did I realize that then the day I became pregnant. Like any new mom, I was on a mission to create the most unique and adorable nursery for my sweet bundle of joy. I wanted something that had a modern flair with bold colors and playful prints, but stayed away from the traditional pastels and themes that were so common among nursery decor. Before now, a new mom might as well leave her sense of style in the labor and delivery room, because with a baby, meant little choices & variety in baby accessories. Hence the birth of Caden Lane.
In 2005 I started with just six diaper bags, and before I knew it, Caden Lane was growing as fast as my expanding belly! I was welcoming 2 new styles of diaper bags, and launching a crib bedding collection within days of my sons arrival. The first bedding collection included 12 crib sets from our signature Classic Collection. Inspired by the simplicity of bold stripes and whimsical dots. The Classic Collection arrived featuring pink and browns, blue and browns, and a twist on the traditional neutral prints. Good bye pastels & primaries, hello bold & beautiful! And as if I were checking items off of a baby registry. I quickly added an accessory line from the Classic Collection that included everything from bibs and burps, to spill mats and shopping cart covers!
It has always been about creating a new look for baby accessories and nursery decor. In the 2nd collection, the Modern Vintage Collection, I wanted to mix it up a bit. Think outside the “baby” box! Inspired by modern Moroccan prints with a twist of intricate geometric design and a slight vintage appeal, the Modern Vintage Collection was born featuring bold colors and timeless appeal. Sticking with our infamous mix & match style, the Luxe Collection an eclectic feel, and proves that pastel pink and baby blue are no longer the standard in nursery decor! And our most recent addition, and best selling to date, is the Boutique Collection - retro style prints with color and style!
