Sweet Floral Farmhouse Twin Girl Nursery

A Twin Farmhouse Floral Nursery

Twice as sweet, this farmhouse style TWIN nursery has us dreaming of whitewashed wood walls, baskets on the wall, and that gorgeous farmhouse floral pattern. We had so much fun putting this nursery together, times two! A few fun DIY’s (budget friendly), a neutral backdrop, and a few fun pops of color… we can’t wait to share our Franny’s Farmhouse Twin Nursery with you.

How cute are those matching cribs?? We fell in love with the vintage-inspired rounded ends and just knew they'd look adorable sticking out from the wall. They ended up grounding the space and creating the most adorable cozy spaces for each baby girl! The antique gray finish paired perfectly with the farmhouse feel and the fun wall decor.

A special thanks to Joanna Gains for showing us that baskets aren’t necessarily meant for the table! We found these square baskets at our local craft store (Hobby Lobby), hung the letter in the middle on top of it (also from Hobby Lobby), and of course – hot-glued a few farmhouse friendly florals to really bring it all together! The entire project was less than $50, and filled the space perfectly above the cribs!

Obsessing over all of these faux shiplap wood walls in the nursery? Yup, us too. But we knew this nursery called for opposite walls covered in whitewashed wood, and when we found this removable wood wallpaper we jumped for joy! That is until we had to install it. It definitely requires a straight head and some patience!

We love matching twin everything but wanted the two large walls to be a little different. We downloaded simple prints and put them in these huge frames (found at Michaels Craft Store), and even better… is our felt ball garland. We tried to do a DIY video for it, but honestly, it was so easy there was nothing to really video!

So, we ordered these cute little felt balls on Etsy (and handpicked the colors to match our bedding)! They were super inexpensive, and the only other materials we needed was a large threading needle and yarn! I love that you can make these as long as you want, and would be so cute in a playroom too.

Design tip: Texture is key! I love this chunky knit rug, it adds a soft place for baby to play and adds interest to the room. Never be afraid to layer rugs, that includes putting a rug on top of carpet! It’s a great way to add color to the room, or bring the design off the walls and center the room.
